"It's quite a budget..."
This is often the first reaction when planning a wedding. Between the caterer, the venue, the dress... the bill adds up quickly. And when it comes time to choose a photographer, it can be tempting to compare only the prices at the bottom of the page.
My collections start at 1 490 € (The Essential) and go up to 2 490 € (Heritage). It is a sum, I am aware of it. But in reality, when you book a professional photographer, you are not just buying digital files.
By the way, the days of the USB stick getting lost in a drawer are over. I deliver your memories via a private online gallery (for easy sharing with guests) and via a secure high-definition download link (SwissTransfer), ensuring maximum quality and privacy.
But beyond delivery, you are investing in three invisible but essential things: Time, Security, and Legacy.
1. The Tip of the Iceberg (Time)
On the big day, you see me running around for 8, 10, or 12 hours. But that is only the visible part.
For a full reportage, the actual working time is often around 30 to 40 hours..
-
Before: Exchanges to understand your expectations, and above all, venue analysis. Even without a prior physical visit, I perform precise scouting via mapping tools (Google Maps) to anticipate the sun's path. This preparation, coupled with my experience, allows me to adapt instantly to any location, whether in Chambéry or the Luberon.
-
After: This is where the craftsmanship continues. I cull thousands of images to keep only the best (around 400 to 500). Then, each photo is processed individually: color grading, lighting, contrast. I don't batch "filter" your photos; I develop your story image by image.
When you divide the rate by the actual hours dedicated to your memories, the equation changes.
2. Your "All-Risk" Insurance (Security)
Why pay for an experienced professional (I've been doing this since 2007) rather than a cheaper enthusiast?
For managing the unexpected.A wedding is live. You can't say, "Cut, let's do it again!"
-
Gear & Backup: I always come with multiple cameras. My main body (the Nikon Z8) records your photos to two memory cards simultaneously. It’s an immediate backup: your memories are secured before they even reach the computer. And if a camera ever fails? I have the second one on my shoulder immediately, ready to shoot in a second.
-
Difficult Light: A very dark church? Torrential rain forcing us to do group photos indoors? This is where technical experience makes the difference between a blurry photo and a piece of art.
You are paying for my ability to guarantee the result, no matter the conditions. You are paying for your peace of mind..
3. The Only Investment That Lasts (Legacy)
Let's take a step back. On your wedding day, the food will be delicious, but the meal will only last a few hours. The flowers will be beautiful, but they will fade in a few days. The music will stop at 4 AM.
Once the party is over, what remains? Only your rings, your memories, and your photos..
Photography is the only wedding expense that increases in value over time. In 10, 20, or 50 years, when you open your "Chartreuse" album (made by Matisseo, and included in the Heritage package),the price you paid in 2026 will seem insignificant compared to the emotional value of this object.
That is why I call it an investment, not an expense. It is a gift you give to your future self and your children.
Ready to invest in your memories? Whether you choose the "Essential" package to capture key moments, or the "Heritage" package for full coverage and an exceptional fine art book, my commitment is the same: securing your visual legacy.
Let's discuss your project for Summer 2026.
