The Myth of the Perfect Photo
We all have this image in our heads: the perfect family, lined up by height, politely smiling at the camera with hands on their knees. It's clean. It's sharp. But does it really tell the story of who you are?
As a photographer based in Provence and Savoie,I meet many parents who are stressed before a session. They are afraid that their children won't "behave," that they will run around, or make silly faces.
My message is simple: Stop stressing. Let them live.
What is "Lifestyle"?
Lifestyle isn't just a random candid shot. It's an approach where I guide you to create movement. I don't want you to look at me; I want you to interact with each other.
See? They aren't posing. They are walking, talking, living. This is exactly the energy I will translate to your family. Whether it's a couple or a tribe with three kids, the recipe is the same: movement creates emotion.
Your Kids Are Tornadoes? That’s Great.
The outdoors is our best ally for this, whatever the season (under the snow in Savoy or in the scrubland of Provence).
If your kids need to run, we have a race. If they want to jump in puddles or throw fallen leaves, we go for it. If they are shy and want to hide in your arms, we capture that hug.
A blurry photo because a child is bursting with laughter running toward you will always have more sentimental value than a sharp photo where they are smiling stiffly because they were forced to.
Memories, Not Evidence
We don't take photos to prove we were well-dressed that day. We take photos to remember the atmosphere..
-
The wind in your hair during a walk by the lake.
-
The golden light of a late summer day in the South.
-
Rosy cheeks after playing in the cold.
This is Lifestyle photography. It’s about transforming the joyful "chaos" of family life into artistic memories.
Ready to let go? Whether you are on vacation in the region or live here year-round, treat yourself to a session where the only rule is to be yourself. I promise, you won't have to say "Cheese."
